we used one QNAP NAS for our montly B2D jobs. But the 18 TB storage is nearly exhausted, so we bought another NAS with 24 TB storage. Yes, I know we could simply change the destination of the jobs to the new storage but we want to get a good structure of our backups so I try to split the jobs between these two NAS. Our target is that all monthly backups have an expiration date of one year. But how can I move the existing backup sets from one NAS to the other? I know that I could duplicate the sets but then the expiration date will be replaced. So how can I duplicate the backup sets with the same expiration date as the source backup set? Is it possible to simply move the .bkf-files and rebuilding the catalog files after that procedure?
