Upgrading from BE 2010 R2 to 2014

We have two backup servers running BE 2010 R2, both Windows Server 2003 R2 x86 (one server runs a dozen different backup jobs while the other runs only three.) We are considering upgrading to BE 2014 and would like to first upgrade the server which is only running three backup jobs (so as to keep headaches to a minimum in the event of any unforseen "gotchas".)  Is there a link to upgrade documentation that guides us through the steps needed to achieve this?
