Disable LiveUpdate from updating Backup Exec 2010 r2

When I do the LiveUpdate on our server for Symantec A/V 11, it will also download the update for BackupExec 2010 r2. When the update is installed, Backup Exec will not run until the server is started. Is there a way to just have LiveUpdate download the ew A/V definitions so that the antivirus will stay current and I dont have to restart the server for Backup Exec? Thank you.
